Our Journal/Memoir "Reflections" Program:
Our new Journal/Memoir Program offers a valuable way in assisting our patients and their families in feeling good about who they are and how their lives matter. Many patients love to talk a lot about their lives and share stories, making perfect candidates for our Volunteers to produce a journaling/memoir book with them. Volunteers receive a manual and training for proceeding with a journaling and memoir project.

Our Photography Program:
Our new Photography Program captures cherished moments for our patients and their loved ones. Our professional photographer sets up an introductory meeting with our patients and their loved ones to go over any special needs and requests, sets up the photo session, spends several hours editing photos and presents the family with a very special package to keep and pass on to future generations.

Our Teen Volunteer Program:
Our teen volunteers visit patients each week and brighten their days with conversations, reading, playing games, listening to music or sharing other activities of mutual interest. They can also volunteer their time for special office projects. Our Teen Volunteer Program was designed to give teens the opportunity to build on character and compassion in our youth and serve as a springboard to those interested in healthcare careers and serving others.

Our Pet Therapy Program:
Our Pet Therapy Program utilizes trained volunteers and their certified pets to provide emotional support for patients in end of life care, contributing to a better quality of life. Pets are an immense source of entertainment and it is proven that pets are a great source of calm.
